JHPE-201 Paper Expanding Agent

1.Product Introduction

This product is widely used for softening, wrinkling, and expanding the volume of toilet paper rolls to improve water absorption. Paper products have good hand feel, strong flexibility, and high grade, making them essential products for toilet paper manufacturers.

2.Performance characteristics

1) Used for softening: It can significantly increase the flexibility of toilet paper, with good hand feel, smooth and even wrinkles, and varying degrees of improvement in tensile strength and whiteness.

2) Used for paper volume expansion; Can make toilet paper expand in volume and improve water absorption under the same weight.

3.Usage method

1) Before use, the dry powder of the expansion agent should be diluted and stirred with 3-5 times the amount of water before being added to the slurry pool. The order of addition is: washing slurry - fluorescent whitening agent - other additives - expansion agent.

2) The addition amount is 0.2% -0.5% of the ton of slurry, depending on the water quality, pH value of the slurry, and the customer's required expansion force.

3) When using, it should be thoroughly stirred in the pulp tank for more than 10 minutes, as the longer the stirring time, the more uniform the mixing and the higher the pulp puffiness.  

4.Precautions

1) The first addition should be done in small amounts, gradually increasing the puffing effect until satisfactory results are achieved.

2) If the addition amount is large but the puffing effect is not ideal, it is mostly due to water quality problems. The pH value of the slurry can be measured with a test paper, with a range of pH ≤ 6.5. If it is higher than this value, aluminum sulfate can be used to adjust it, and the puffing effect can meet the requirements.

3) Excessive addition may cause cylinder detachment, and the solution is to add cellulose to the slurry pool to correct it.

4) After the paper product is puffed, users do not have to worry about the tensile strength being affected. The puffing agent contains ionic bonds, and under the action of the ionic bonds, the short fibers form a bridging structure, which not only does not affect the tensile strength but also increases the dry strength and tensile strength.

5.Packaging storage

Packaging: Comes in a 25kg woven bag.

Storage: The product should be stored in a cool and dry place

Storage period: 12 months.
