JHPE-201 Paper puffing agent

1. Product introduction:

This product is widely used for softening, wrinkling, and swelling of toilet paper, increasing the volume of toilet paper rolls, and improving water absorption. Paper products have a good hand feel, strong flexibility, and high grade, making them a must-have product for toilet paper manufacturers.

2.  Main technical feature:

Appearance: White to grayish white powder

PH value: 6-9 

2.1. Used for increasing softness: It can significantly increase the flexibility of toilet paper, with good hand feel, fine and even wrinkling, and varying degrees of improvement in tensile strength and whiteness.

2.2 Used for paper volume expansion; It can increase the volume of toilet paper by 20-40% and improve its water absorption under the same weight.

3. Usage:

3.1 Before using, the puffing agent dry powder should be diluted and stirred with 3-5 times water before being added to the pulping tank. The addition sequence is as follows: washing slurry - fluorescent brightener - other additives - puffing agent.

3.2 The dosage is 0.2% -0.5% of the ton of pulp, and depends on the water quality, pH value of the pulp, and the size of the customer's required swelling force.

3.3 When using, it should be thoroughly stirred in the pulping tank, and the mixing time should be longer than 10 minutes. As the longer the mixing time, the more uniform the mixing, and the higher the pulp swelling degree.

4. Precautions:

4.1 The first dosage should be done in small amounts, gradually increasing the puffing effect until satisfactory results are achieved.

4.2  If the addition amount is large but the puffing effect is not ideal, most of which is due to water quality issues. You can use a test paper to measure the pH value of the pulp, with a range of pH ≤ 6.5. If it is higher than this value, aluminum sulfate can be used to adjust, and the puffing effect can meet the requirements.

4.3 Excessive addition may cause cylinder detachment, and the solution is to add cellulose in the slurry tank to correct it.

4.4 After the expansion of paper products, users do not need to worry about the impact of tensile force. The expansion agent contains ion bonds, and under the action of the ion bonds, the short fibers form a bridging structure, which not only does not affect the tensile force but also increases the dry strength and tensile force.

5. Packaging and Storage:

Packaging: Packed in 25kg woven bags.

Storage: The product should be stored in a cool and dry place

Storage period: 12 months.
