ASA SIZING AGENT

1.Product Introduction

ASA is a highly efficient reactive sizing agent, primarily composed of alkenyl succinic anhydride, which exhibits high reactivity and easily forms ester bonds with fibers. After being applied, it does not require heat treatment or aging time. ASA has a low friction coefficient, making it less likely to cause paper slippage. It is suitable for high-speed paper machines, high water-resistant paper grades primarily made from waste paper, and high-grade cultural paper. It has minimal system influencing factors, low sizing costs, and is applicable to almost all pulp materials.

Appearance: amber-colored liquid

Viscosity (25°C): ≤300 mPa·s

3.Use method

ASA uses starch or polymers as emulsifiers, and through automatically controlled on-site emulsification equipment, forms an effective and stable lotion, which is added to the appropriate addition point to provide efficient sizing for paper. The general dosage is 1-3 kg/ton of paper. For different paper machines, the dosage of ASA needs to be optimized to achieve good sizing effects.

4.Packaging storage

It is packaged in 200kg and 1000kg plastic drums, and can also be packaged according to user requirements.

It should be stored in a cool and ventilated place at a temperature between 5-35℃, with a storage period of 12 months.
