1.Product introduction:
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is a product obtained by carboxymethylation of cellulose and neutralization with alkali. It is a white or slightly yellow powder. Odorless, non-toxic, odorless, and highly hygroscopic, soluble in water to form a viscous liquid. It is a type of polyanion electrolysis, non fermenting, with salt resistance and thermal stability. It is a highly efficient filtrate reducer that is resistant to high temperature and salt in drilling fluid.
2. Feature:
2.1 High viscosity CMC can increase the viscosity of drilling fluid, ensure the suspension of heavy substances, be salt resistant, and improve the oil recovery rate of oil-bearing formations.
2.2 The on-site application process is simple, maintenance and treatment are convenient, the amount of treatment agent is small, and the cost of drilling fluid is low.
2.3 Non toxic, harmless, and non polluting to the environment.
3. Scope of application:
Widely used in the preparation of water-based mud (drilling fluid) in petroleum drilling engineering, it controls the amount of water lost during drilling and prevents accidents such as wellbore collapse, shrinkage and jamming caused by mud loss during drilling. Adding mud mainly for moving soil can control the viscosity of the mud. The mud treated with CMC does not ferment, has low shear force, and is not prone to sinking when stationary.
4. Usage and dosage
Directly add or prepare a gel solution into the mud, adding 0.1-0.2% to fresh water mud and 0.5-0.8% to saturated saline mud.
